The pages are nicely perforated, even though the book is spiral bound, & the paper is a good quality & weight. Each picture is printed on one side &, if it's a picture made to represent a particular historical or ethnic item, there's a description on the back. There's also some images of locations, buildings, & even some "campers." I love Thaneeya McArdle's artwork. She's fantastic... & I love that I have a huge selection from which to choose.
Another fun book from Thaneeya Mc Ardle~~!! I nice spiral bound edition of a nice mix of her designs and quotes from all of her coloring books, this is actually my only complaint as there are a lot of repeat designs from her other, books. If you are a collector of Thaneeya's books as I am (They Make Me feel happy), you may have a lot of double images. One of the reasons I enjoy her books so much is that they appeal to an audience of all ages, so coloring with my nieces and nephews is made easy. I like this book as well as her "Don't Worry Be Happy" book because they are spiral bound so will lay flat to color. The pages are perforated and the paper is of good quality and treated so that most wet medias will not bleed through~!** One sided pages of course with a lovely little tid bit quote on the back of all the pages, another reason i enjoy her books, always so positive, and the coloring bodes well for those of us that enjoy blending or using intense color~~!!*8 All & all I happy that I purchased this book~~!!**
I Love love love this book =) Its a must have for everyone!! The pictures are great, the paper quality is awesome, single printed pages, and spiral bound? im in love =D You will adore this book as much as I do, I wish i could give it 10 stars!!
This book is outstanding. In the front of the book you are provided tips along with advice on your coloring from shading, pattering, color wheels, and basic techniques. I own all four treasuries and with that being said I don't think I have to tell you how much I love these books. Before you turn away think this out your average adult coloring book has about thirty pages that you will undoubtably pay atleast ten dollars for ok this book has ninety six coloring pages.. Triple the amount! For twelve dollars. Why wouldn't you buy this. I'm a coloring perfectionist so it's safe to say I'm going to give the best most honest review I can to everyone on here. The book is spiral bound making it so much easier to color without having to bend or wrinkle the pages and what a relief that is. Unlike most adult coloring books you will find you have no bleed through here none. Take it from someone who uses everything from colored pencils, gel pens, washable markers, to sharpies. I've not once had a bleed through issue. The pages are very thick and a very vibrant white. The pictures are that of high quality and that's one thing I find hard to come by. The opposite side of the page has nothing to color but it does have a very inspirational quote waiting on you to read it and get your happy mood on! It also provides servareal lines to add in your own thoughts or emotions about the page you just finished up. This book goes from zero to one hundred real quick. You might see something simple at first but if you want complicated you can find it! The way it's arranged is pretty incredible. Oh you can rip out the pages without being overly cautious about tearing the paper as well because they've added this simple line down the size of your page. I don't see that in many books either. I totally suggest it! One of my favorite!!
I love this book! There are a ton of fun drawings to color and just looking through the book made me smile and brought back many happy memories! The drawings are fun and my 10 year old grand daughter loves to color with me. The drawings range from easy up to semi-advanced but just the same all of them are fun. Coloring these takes me back to my teenage years when it was all good. Pages are perforated for easy removal with no tearing. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to color.
This is a heavy duty spiral bound notebook and each page is perforated for easier tear out too. I would turn each individual page slowly the first time going through it though because some of the pages st k together at the spiral/perforated part of the page (the actual coloring page was fine) which is why I only have this 4 stars instead of 5. Each page is one-sided with a quote and a few blank lines on the back.
I LOVE this book. It was exactly what I was looking for and so much more! I wanted a pencil coloring book for my kids ages 7-11. They enjoyed the "adult" coloring book I had but the designs took a little too long to complete in those books. This has super fun pictures that are just the right level of difficulty. The part that really impressed me about this and gave it the WOW factor for me was the inspirational quotes on the back of each picture that coordinated with the design. I just found my new go to birthday present for kids birthdays!!!
I really like her books. Her images can be complex or simple. She often leaves room on the pages for you to embellish or add to the page. The beginning of each book has: simple art terms and explinations; tips; ideas; and full color examples.-The image quality is great. No smears or extra lines; paper is nice and white; lines are solid and dark.-Pages are perforated for easy removal.-Paper quality is nice a thickness (still watch for bleed through with markers), but doesn't have much tooth
Designs are not bad. I do like the format of the book since it is spiral bound. If you bring your coloring with you, you automatically have a nice surface to use. The paper is a good quality and my AmazaPens will not bleed through.
