While the description states this cover will fit the NIV Life Application Study Bible, Large Print and the NIV Sudy Bible, Large Print, the description is true for the former, but not the latter. When used with the NIV Life Application Study Bible, the cover accommodates the Bible's 2.25" thickness well, the 6.5" width with 3/4" to spare, and the 9.5" height with about 5/8" to spare top and bottom; a fairly loose fit. The cover would obviously handle the NIV Study Bible's 2.25" thickness, but the Bible's 10.25" height and 7" width make for a VERY tight fit. While the measurements would seem to work, the construction of the Duo-Tone Names of Jesus XL will not allow the covers of the Bible to slip into the inner pockets, and crimps the Bible's cover when zipped closed.So, the mixed review. An adequate cover with a bit of room to spare with the NIV LASB, and essentially useless with the NIV SB.Aside from the disappointment due to Zondervan's erroneous description, it is an attractive, sturdy cover. I'll just have to look elsewhere for a suitable cover for the NIV Study Bible.
The Bible Cover stated it would fit the exact bible it was purchased for, but it is a very tight fit. It bends the edges of the bible. They also smashed it flat for shipping so getting it to maintain a normal shape is going to take some time. The price made it worth it, because it was significantly cheaper than any other source.
the Review below is correct in that the cover DOES NOT FIT the NIV large print study Bible. I tried and tried to get the thing on and couldn't. maybe a Bible-horn would work or some grease. I'm am pretty good at figuring things like this out, but this cover is Too small for the Bible. Don't even think about having page tabs even if you could get the cover on. Pass this up and look for another one. I now have to send it back to Amazon. Thanks Amazon for making the return very easy and customer friendly.

True too size, great Quality as the Names of Jesus are not ink but ingrained in the Bible cover. Awesome protection for one of my new Bibles, i learned my lesson when i had a cloth Bible cover and spilt water in my car thus soaking and ruining my expensive Bible. Highly recommend. Beach'n
This Bible cover was exactly what I was looking for and fit my Life Study Application Bible perfectly. I'm not into a bunch of pockets and storage so this was perfect and my Bible is now protected from wear and tear. Not to mention this is very good quality at a great price. I purchased one with the same quality for my wife just a different design if you see another review almost identical to this one.
I didn't end up keeping this cover because it was roomier than I wanted for my Bible, but it was gorgeous!
